Wedding Part 2: Pre-ceremony

Share this post or pin it for later!

Today I’m sharing Part 2 of our wedding photos (if you missed Part 1 of our wedding photos, start here), including our pre-ceremony photos with our bridal party, just the two of us, and a peek at some of the details set up at our venue before guest arrival.

I love how our bridal party’s color scheme came together! Gem colors look great on all skin tones and the cobalt blue looked beautiful on all the girls. I also loved the idea of an infinity wrap dress so all the girls could pick their own style. We found these dresses on etsy. The men’s suits are from Menguin.

wedding centerpieces
The custom length table runners from LovelyLaceDesigns on etsy really tied together our centerpieces.

We had so much fun coming up with this idea for table numbers. Each number ties to a fun fact about us and our relationship.

These beautiful, handmade lace hankies were such a sweet touch on our sign-in table. I was pleasantly surprised that they were almost all gone by the end of the night!
paper crane escort cards
One of my favorite touches from our wedding was our paper crane escort cards. Handmade by a husband and wife team (again, found on etsy!), they were so adorable and fun. My wonderful bridesmaid Kimmy wrote everyone’s names in her beautiful cursive.

Omied’s cousin surprised us with this sweet shadow box. You can purchase your own custom shadow box for yourself or a loved one on her etsy page, and follow her on Facebook for some daily inspirations.

I just love all of these sweet photos with our closest friends, anticipation buzzing before the wedding started. And it was nice to steal away for a few precious moments just the two of us before the real craziness of the evening began. Next up on the blog, our ceremony!

Once you get through initial "I know what's best" attitude of the manager here, you will agree that - he DOES know what's best, and he does not treat you like just some paycheck. During my wedding here, the wait staff at San Francisco wedding venues was absolutely the best.
