Sharing some photos today from our lovely stay at the gorgeous Omni Montelucia in Scottsdale! And while you’re mapping out your summer travel plans, might I suggest Scottsdale, AZ for a getaway? Yes, it’s hot during the summer. Like, triple digits hot. But many of the luxury resorts and Scottsdale hotels offer ridiculously good discounts, up to 60% off, during this time of year. While you’re sipping drinks poolside and enjoying ridiculously good discounts at luxury hotels (and their spa packages!) you won’t mind the heat. Trust me. Whether you’re looking for Scottsdale hotels for a family trip, a party trip (so many fun bachelorette parties, ha!), or a relaxing vacation, you can check out Experience Scottsdale’s site with more info on all the best deals during the summer.
And while you’re thinking about which of the gorgeous Scottsdale hotels to stay at, let me tell you more about our stay at the Omni Montelucia! This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful Mediterranean vibes. We felt like we were staying in a Spanish villa! The grounds are beautiful and there are two separate pools—one that is kid/family friendly, and one adults-only pool. Actually, I lied, there is a third pool that is only available to guests who have booked a spa treatment, and Omied and I spent and afternoon there in total bliss, soaking up some gorgeous mountain views. Omni Montelucia’s spa is one of the most beautiful spas I’ve ever been to, and I had such a relaxing experience there. Between the plunge pool, sauna, relaxation room complete with inviting beds draped in curtains, and the wonderful massage I had, I was in heaven.
We also had dinner at the Omni’s restaurant Prado, and no surprise here but it was delicious. I had the seafood pasta and absolutely loved it. After dinner, Omied and I grabbed drinks and sat outside by one of the fire pits. Omied also stopped by the Omni’s cigar bar and picked up a stogie that he was really excited to enjoy by the fire. We had such a relaxing weekend here and loved our stay at Omni Montelucia!
Phoenix is 12.9 miles from Scottsdale and will take you 18 minutes with no traffic via car.
It is recommended to visit Scottsdale in late September to November. The fall time is the best time to visit since the weather will be cooler and more manageable.
