On my recent trip to Scottsdale, I had the absolute pleasure of staying at the gorgeous Mountain Shadows Resort, in the heart of Paradise Valley. The iconic resort is a beautiful luxury hotel, with all of the mid-century modern vibes.
The hotel originally opened its doors in 1959, nestled right beneath the famous Camelback Mountain, and was a big hit among Hollywood stars. It’s since been rebuilt from the ground up, but I loved that there were nods to the original resort and its Hollywood glam vibes, from photos on the walls to the name of the restaurant.
The new resort was recently revealed last year, and I loved getting to experience it. I received so many DMs and comments from you guys while I was posting photos at the resort, saying how Mountain Shadows is your favorite hotel in Scottsdale too!
It’s hard not to love it, and it’s super Instagrammable.
The restaurant at the hotel is called Hearth ’61, and we had the most decadent, delicious dinner and drinks there. Lamb chops, gnocchi, scallops, and chocolate cake were involved, along with a few cocktails. Yum!
Mountain Shadows also has a gorgeous pool, with Camelback Mountain right in the background. It’s the perfect spot to spend an afternoon or the entire day!
