Harmon Guest House in Healdsburg review, by travel blogger What The Fab

I’m totally daydreaming about our next trip to California wine country!

Sharing some pics and notes today from our stay at the Harmon Guest House in Healdsburg. It’s the newest addition to the Hotel Healdsburg and h2 hotel lineup, and we loved it here!

Since it opened just over a year ago, it’s been met with rave reviews.

Harmon Guest House, Healdsburg

Harmon Guest House is a super modern boutique hotel in downtown Healdsburg. The property was designed by David Baker Architects with a super chic vibe.

We stayed in a Harmon King room, which is perfect for two guests. The room has minimalist yet welcoming decor, a little dining nook, and a balcony with seating overlooking the glassed-in central courtyard.

The rooms feel very spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open bathroom situation (with a sliding door if you want privacy).

There are several really nice amenities Harmon Guest House, including:

  • Valet parking
  • Free breakfast at h2 Hotel next door
  • Complimentary snacks and beverages in the room
  • Free wifi
  • Bicycles available
  • Yoga classes
  • Access to the pool at h2 next door
  • Pet-friendly
  • In-room Nespresso machine

My favorite amenities at Harmon Guest House are all centered around food.

Having a complimentary breakfast is SO nice, and we’re not talking some lame little continental breakfast here, people.

It’s a full breakfast with options on the menu like delicious scrambles, pancakes, and (my favorite) chilaquiles. Oh and there’s a mimosa bar. So there’s that.

Then within the room, having complimentary snacks is such a treat. Seriously so nice when you’re used to ridiculous minibar prices.

Having a Nespresso machine in the room is also so luxurious to me—I really can’t stand those crappy little “coffee” makers most hotels have, so being able to make my own delicious shot of espresso and not even leave my room is amazing.

Harmon Guest House also has Healdsburg’s first rooftop bar, The Rooftop. The rooftop overlooks Sonoma County’s hills and downtown Healdsburg and is a fun spot to grab a drink.

They have happy hour deals on bites and drinks Tuesday – Friday from 3pm – 6pm.

The location is perfect—227 Healdsburg Avenue, you literally can’t beat it—and you’re within walking distance from Healdsburg’s tasting rooms and amazing restaurants situated around the square.

Pricing averages around $450 a night for weekend stays. You can check booking availability here.
