Fiji Airways Business Class Review

Last year I got to fly business class on Fiji Airways from Nadi Airport to LAX, and it was a pretty lovely experience. Before my trip, I read other bloggers’ posts about their experience flying business on Fiji Airways, and it got me so excited for my flight! So I thought I’d share some pictures and notes from my trip.

• Premier Lounge. The Fiji Airways lounge at Nadi Airport is one of the nicest airport lounges I’ve been to (not that I’ve been in a ton, but at least a handful!). If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you have access to this lounge through Priority Pass. But you will need your physical Priority Pass Card in order to enter. Sadly, Omied didn’t have a physical card, and they wouldn’t let him into the lounge, which really pissed me off. Don’t worry though, you know I stole a panini and a brownie for him. ? Their food was pretty good and there was plenty of comfortable seating. I also took advantage of the showers, since we had to travel by boat for a couple hours just to get to Denarau island and I was already sweaty before even getting to the airport.
• Seats. The seats on Fiji Airways business class are full lay-down (??), which allowed me to sleep for most of the flight. They also have a privacy shield that you can pull out, so you don’t have to make eye contact/small talk with the stranger sitting next to you. ? There’s also a pouch of toiletries one each seat, which included things like a hydration mist, toothbrush and toothpaste, earplugs, and socks. Once seated we were greeted with a rum punch cocktail that was pretty sweet and right up my alley.
• Food. The food was good, but not amazing. My food experience on China Airlines business class was way more impressive—I’ll write about that one next!

Ok, writing this and looking back on these pics is making me want to hop on another business class flight with Fiji Airways to head back to Fiji’s gorgeous islands!
