I’ve been incorporating a little bit more home decor posts into my blog over the last year or so, and it’s been so much fun to shoot and share that kind of content with you guys. While I definitely can’t wait til we own our first home some day (and allll the decorating and home decor posts that will come with it), it’s fun to share some peeks into our apartment and how I’m decorating it. Although I’m never going to show you guys my old, tiny, dark, San Francisco kitchen. Sorry! ?
Today we’re going inside my bedroom! I’d been wanting to get some new decor to go above our bed, and had an idea of getting framed prints made with art prints and photos from places around the world that Omied and I have traveled to and love. For this little decor project, I used Desenio, which is an online store that sells high quality posters and beautiful art prints. You can also order frames to go with your prints and fit the different sizes perfectly, and I loved that they had a wide variety of different frame types to choose from. I was debating between gold frames and white frames, but ultimately went with white because I thought it’d look a little cleaner. Plus Omied said we already have enough gold in our bedroom (I really don’t think we have that much gold!).
As I was shopping Desenio’s website for art prints to put on our wall behind our bed, I was really pleasantly surprised to see how affordable their pricing is. I know a lot of online framing and quality prints companies can get expensive, and many of them would be way too pricey for me to get seven prints to place across our bedroom wall.
After measuring our bedroom wall, I decided that seven vertical prints in their 30 x 40 cm sizing would be perfect. While I was perusing Desenio’s website, I was favoriting art prints left and right—they have so many gorgeous prints and it was hard to narrow down which ones I wanted! I finally decided to go with a blue color scheme to help narrow things down a bit. Blue is both my and Omied’s favorite color, and I thought it would be a nice, calming color to have in our bedroom.
I ended up choosing three prints that were beautiful outdoor scenic shots to go on my side of the room, one geometric pattern art print to go in the middle, and three architectural prints of doors and buildings to go on Omied’s side, all in a blue color scheme. I’m listing all the prints I got here in case you want to check them out:
There’s a reason Desenio has great reviews online—they have helpful customer service, and surprisingly fast shipping and delivery. When I placed my order, I was told my products could take a couple weeks to arrive, but they came at a much earlier date which I was super happy about.
I was really happy with the quality of the prints and I absolutely love how they look hanging on the wall above our bed! We did a straight row of prints all in the same size because that’s what fit and looked the best in this space, but you could definitely do a really fabulous gallery wall with their prints. In fact, I’m dreaming about the day when I can decorate my own home office with a super gorgeous Desenio gallery wall in a What The Fab color scheme!
You can also check out their gallery wall inspiration page for ideas. So many gorgeous gallery walls to get inspo from!
Desenio ships to: Shipping to The EU, Norway, Switzerland, The US, Canada, and Australia. And you can get an extra 10% off Desenio’s 25% weekend discount with the code WTFAB, valid until September 30th! *This offer does not include frames, handpicked, and personalized prints.
Thank you to Desenio for sponsoring this post!
