Allegretto Paso Robles hotel review, by travel blogger What The Fab

I’ve been covering Paso Robles on the blog a ton over the last couple of weeks, and it’s just because we loved visiting so much and I want to tell everyone I meet about it! Today I’m sharing all things Allegretto Paso Robles.

We stayed at the Allegretto Vineyard Resort during our trip and it was a great home base for our Paso Robles wine country trip in San Luis Obispo county.

If you’re looking to book a hotel for a Paso Robles trip, I’d highly recommend Allegretto as it’s a beautiful hotel with some lovely amenities. But if they’re fully booked on your dates you can explore Paso Robles hotels here in my guide.

The hotel is situated on 20 acres of vineyards and olive and fruit trees and has a very Mediterranean vibe, from the beautiful outdoor courtyard area to the statues throughout the resort.

Enjoy this review of my time at Adelaida vineyards, and you can also check out my other Paso Robles guides that cover top things to do, best wineries, best restaurants, and where to stay.

Rooms:

The rooms at Allegretto Vineyards were very spacious, and many of them have patios if they’re on the ground level or French balconies.

Our windows overlooked the lovely courtyard. For this trip, it was just me and Omied, but our room absolutely could have accommodated two more guests given how large their rooms are, and the sofa couch in the sitting area.

The hotel is also dog-friendly so if you’re looking to bring a furry friend, you can!

Amenities:

The hotel grounds are really inviting and you should definitely explore the property—there’s so much to get into!

In addition to the luxurious pool and hot tub, you’ll find relaxing fire pits, and complimentary bikes that you can take out for a ride, or over to one of the other tasting rooms and vineyards close by.

We also discovered a ping pong table and their “sound labyrinth,” which is this fun outdoor art and music installation that plays different sounds as you walk through it.

I love finding fun little surprises like that!

I didn’t get a chance to visit their spa since our wine tasting itinerary was just so jam-packed, but their spa packages look lovely and they also offer a Saturday morning yoga class.

Cello Ristorante:

We had dinner at Allegretto’s restaurant, Cello, and we really enjoyed our meal here!

The food and decor are all in line with the Mediterranean theme, and we enjoyed some of Allegretto’s wines paired with our dinner (I had the rack of lamb and Omied had a delicious steak).

Or, if you feel like staying in your room (and your hotel robe) for dinner, there’s always room service! Which btw, we did room service for breakfast and it was great.

Wine Tasting Room:

Allegretto Wines has its own tasting room at the hotel, where you can experience their own wines.

The tasting room is really beautiful and inviting, and we enjoyed kicking off our wine tasting in Paso Robles by starting outright at the hotel.

Location:

As I mentioned, Allegretto’s location is pretty hard to beat.

The hotel is a five-minute drive from downtown Paso Robles, and the perfect jumping-off point for some of Paso’s other wineries as you explore the many different AVAs.

We had such a nice stay at Allegretto Vineyard Resort Paso Robles, and I hope we get a chance to visit again soon!

The staff and service from the restaurant, front desk, GM, and tasting room were all fantastic, and you’ll feel very well taken care of. I mean, just look at their reviews on TripAdvisor—the GM Rich literally responds to every single one. That is some serious attention to detail!
