Best Milan Airbnbs: Where To Stay in Milan

Milan Airbnbs

Milan, Italy is a fashion and business capital of the world, so there are a lot of fancy (and pricey) hotels in this city. And there are a lot of super chic Milan Airbnbs available, but surprisingly, they are really reasonably priced and affordable (in some cases, they’re down right cheap!). So if you’re not using points to book a fancy hotel (like we did at the Park Hyatt Milan—read the full Park Hyatt Milan review here), Milan Airbnbs are a fabulous option for you! I’ve rounded up the best Airbnbs in Milan below.

As far as the best areas go, either the city center or Navigli District are your best options. Staying anywhere within that main circle of Milan will make it easy for you to see Milan’s top sights. Staying in the Navigli District puts you close enough to the city center that you’re not too far away, and the Navigli area is super cute with lots of bars and restaurants, making it another great place to stay.

I combed through all of the Milan Airbnbs available and hand-selected the top 10 vacation rentals based on location, reviews, and aesthetic. *All photos in this post are from Airbnb and belong to the Airbnb owners.

Top 10 Best Milan Airbnbs

1. Design Loft in Navigli

Milan airbnbs

Several of these Milan Airbnbs are going to be located in the Navigli District, because this is more of an area where locals actually live, hence there are apartments available for rent! It’s also one of the best areas of Milan to stay in.

This loft is super stylish and bohemian with a lot of personality. It’s located in a quiet courtyard, while still being just steps away from all the fun night life that Navigli and its charming canals have to offer.

The loft would be comfortable for a couple, but can also easily sleep four people. The old lady in me would also like to call out that they have a memory foam mattress here—there’s nothing worse than a rock hard bed while on vacation!

Up to 4 guests // 1 bedroom // 2 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $100 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

2. Stylish Open Space

Milan Airbnbs

This ultra chic apartment is an Airbnb Plus, and it’s located very close to a couple of Milan’s most popular sights—Parco Sempione and Castle Sforzesco.

I’m in love with the floating stairs that lead up to the sleeping area and bed! And again, this spot has a memory foam mattress—praise be. There’s also a sunny little balcony where you can step out and sip coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening.

Up to 2 guests // 1 bedroom // 1 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $87 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

3. Greenhouse Rooftop Apartment

Milan Airbnbs

This Airbnb is super central and located in the city center. You’ll be within walking distance from a lot of Milan’s top sights, like the Duomo and La Scala theatre. It’s also about a ten minute walk away from the Navigli District.

Aside from its central location, this apartment is just gorgeous with its enchanting terrace and greenhouse on the top floor. I’d have breakfast in the greenhouse and a glass of wine on the veranda every day! In my opinion this is like, the best Airbnbs in Milan given its location and utter gorgeousness, all for a reasonable price.

Up to 2 guests // 1 bedroom // 1 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $132 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

4. Elegant Triplex

Milan Airbnbs
Milan Airbnbs

This stunning three bedroom apartment would be perfect for a group or a family. The three floors each have their own bedroom, and the floors are connected by a winding staircase. The interior is crisp and white with bright natural light.

The neighborhood is very residential with easy access to the market, the subway, and restaurants. It’s an Airbnb Plus, so you’ll have all the amenities you need to be comfortable. And you’re greeted with Prosecco and and welcome snacks upon your arrival!

Up to 6 guests // 3 bedroom // 3 bed // 3 bath. Prices from $237 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

5. The Flying Home at Naviglio Grande

Milan Airbnbs
Milan Airbnbs

There are so many striking and fun qualities about this Airbnb! First of all, it’s a very modern apartment, with design features that make it really unique. Second, the dining table is also a ping pong table! I love ping pong so I’d be super stoked on this. And lastly, ummm hello the bed is hanging from the ceiling! So quirky and fun.

There’s also a cute little balcony with a view of the Naviglio Canal, so you can sit out there and watch life go by right beneath you. How charming.

Definitely bring your earplugs, since this spot is in the heart of lively Naviglio along the canal.

Up to 2 guests // 1 bedroom // 1 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $69 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

6. Studio at Corso Buenos Aires

Milan Airbnbs

This luxe little studio is located close to Corso Buenos Aires, the longest shopping street in all of Europe. It’s also steps from the underground line, making it easy to use public transportation.

This area has great shopping, bars, and restaurants. The apartment is a great option if you’re looking for a nice, clean place to stay and are on a budget. At $55/night it’s pretty hard to beat. It’s definitely small and almost all the reviews mention that, but if you’re really looking to take advantage of exploring Milan and just want a comfortable place to stay for cheap, this is a great option.

Up to 2 guests // Studio // 1 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $55 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

7. Stunning View in Heart of Milan

Milan Airbnbs

This light and bright apartment is very central and well connected to the rest of the city through public transportation. It also has a beautiful view of the Arch of Peace at Sempione Park.

I’m loving its bright and clean aesthetic, and even though it’s a studio it looks very spacious and more than comfortable for two people.

Do note this one does not have air conditioning so I wouldn’t book it during the peak of summer when it’s sure to be hot!

Up to 2 guests // Studio // 2 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $101 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

8. Design Loft

Milan Airbnbs

This loft is situated inside of a palace from the seventeenth century, and its location is truly ideal. From here, you’re very close to the Duomo, La Scala, and night life.

The accommodations are super sleek and modern, as you can see by all of the clean lines and unique glass design. There’s also a wooden terrace, perfect for sipping your morning coffee on and relaxing. For $82/night, given its location and super chic aesthetic, this Airbnb is truly a great value.

Up to 2 guests // Studio // 1 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $82 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

9. Apartment by the Canals

If you’re traveling with a group of four and are looking for the ultimate deal in the Navigli District, this Airbnb is for you. This apartment has a living area and a staircase brings you to the mezzanine where you will find the the sleeping area with a double bed. In the living there is a double sofa bed for two additional guests. So if you’re down to get a little cozy, the four of you could be paying $11 each per night to stay in Milan’s liveliest area. Not too shabby.

Up to 4 guests // 1 bedroom // 2 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $44 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

10. Romantic Suite Near Central Station

Milan Airbnbs
Milan Airbnbs

This apartment is very minimalist and chic, with warm wood tones and neutral colors. The design feels very New York-chic to me. It’s located near Central Station, making public transportation a breeze. And while it’s a one bedroom, there’s room for three people here.

There’s also a small balcony where you can relax and enjoy an aperitif al fresco. This one is also an Airbnb Plus, so you know it’s going to be lovely.

Up to 3 guests // 1 bedroom // 1 bed // 1 bath. Prices from $88 per night. Check pricing and dates here.

That’s my list of the top ten best Airbnbs in Milan! If you book one, definitely tag me in a pic or Insta Story showing off your Milan Airbnb.
