Hellooo 2019! What are everyone’s New Years Resolutions? I have several that all fall under the category of taking care of myself and self-love, and one of them is to do a better job of working out while I’m traveling. I have a great workout routine when I’m at home that I’m super consistent with. But if I were to write a list of things I strongly dislike to do, working out while traveling would be at the top of that list. I don’t know why, but while I love working out at home and seriously can’t live without my sweat seshes during the week, when I’m traveling for work or for vacation I just really don’t like taking time to work out when I’m on the road! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Which is a pretty big problem considering how much I travel. So that’s why I’m setting the intention of working out at least three days out of the week when I’m traveling.

To help me succeed with my resolution this year, I’ll be packing my new ASICS GT-2000 7 running shoes in my suitcase when I head out of town. I figure that no matter where I am in the world, all I really need to work out is a solid pair of shoes. Whether I’m hitting the hotel gym, going for a run outside, or doing some body weight workouts at an Airbnb (my trainer is a big fan of forcing burpees, star jumps, and jump squats on me), ASICS’ new line of shoes are the only equipment I need. I got this pair on Zappos, which is basically the easiest way to shop online for shoes, thanks to their 365 days return policy, ridiculously fast (and free!) shipping, and huge range of styles. Not to mention their world-class customer service (that their CEO literally wrote a book on). I picked the Mist/White with orange soles because I love a good pop of color, and bright, fun colors make me happy when I’m getting ready to go work out.
